tis the season to be jolly ...apparently

We woke at a nice time and had sausages

I love a Richmond. {Tooli I ate it slow and wished you the taste }.  Si had something more chunky

We took a run to Dunelm today because we needed brushed cotton bed sheets to warm our bits.   Success;  also two cushions   Si has long lusted after Tooli's cushions in her apartment but we cannot find them. But he is quite happy with the ones we got today

I came home and made us Grantham Cookies to have with a cup of tea.  Oh my. They are good I used stem ginger instead of powdered.

Lush

Then I started on a dulce du leche caramel apple crumble.  I think there have been better.

All that effort for something which doesn't look amazing. (I am a bit of a sloppy chef)

So I had a Jack Daniels to make up for my disappointment

I forgot to mention the photo.... It's wintertainment in town today.  Santa parade and the lights being switched on.  When the kids were wee and the navy were involved it was amazing.  Santa dropped from a helicopter.  Sailors. Hanging out the Sea king

No sea kings any more. No naval base. Good job I kept myself a sailor

But we drove through the town and were delighted to see that the shops were being over whelmed with customers and all the coffee shops busy.

I'll have a look at the lights s tomorrow when there aren't any hoomans about

:-)
