Winter in Innbærinn

Around noon we took a walk through Innbærinn, our neighbourhood. 
It's getting very Christmassy and festive with all the lights people have put up to decorate for the season. The pond was frozen and everything was surrounded in this white blanket of snow. 
It was rather chilly, -5°C and a bit windy, when we turned towards north on the way home after stopping at the local service station to pick up a parcel from Reykjavík. Noses and cheeks red and frozen when we got home. Nice to get a cup of hot cocoa and tea to warm up. 
Even more nice to be invited to have coffee and pancakes at my mother's in the afternoon.
