You Know It's Wet When...

...answers on a postcard!!

The forecast was for sunshine and the odd spot of rain in the morning, and heavy rain 2-3pm...I can confirm that was a lie! Matthew and I were absolutely soaked, you know it's wet when your knickers are wet through a pair of leggings and a pair of tights...and your t shirt is wet through your coat, hoody and long sleeved top! I had to borrow one of Matthew's hoodies when we got back which was an interesting fashion choice, not that I care. :-P

Our 18 mile walk took us from Baildon through Esholt, onto Guiseley over the Chevin skirting Otley and back into Menston. From there we headed to Burley Woodhead and crossing the moor to the Cow and Calf Rocks above Ilkley. All the way across the moor we transversed until popping out opposite Dick Hudson's pub and continuing through Eldwick.

The final leg of our journey took us along through Shipley Glen before arriving, drip drip drip, at Matthew's in Baildon.

My photo shows the fire at Mum and Dad's where I came post walk to enjoy catching up on Strictly at Blackpool. Magical to be warm and dry whilst watching an equally magical show. I adored Chris and Dianne, and think it's Wynne's time to go...
