City of Gold

A full morning. We left Asha at home as she woke feeling pretty grotty with a heavy cold. She and the cat seemed settled together!
I was doing the talk at church, lots of interesting chat afterwards with people about it. 
Home to catch up on Strictly with the kids, and later Nate and I came for a wander along the Port. It was fun to watch the town hall testing out the Christmas lights.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Nate doing an amazing job washing up most of the coffee cups after church.
2) Praying with a couple of different people after the service today.
3) Sitting at the end of the Port, feeling hugely grateful that we live here.
