The Pitman Painters

Went to see The Pitman Painters by Lee Hall at the Hall for Cornwall this evening. As the name suggests its about a group of miners attending an art evening class run by the Workers Educational Association. It was full of ideas about attitudes to art, class society and was also funny and moving in parts with excellent actors.

The special pre- theatre supper went down well too!
