Rainbow over the canal

Rain was forecast for this afternoon and evening so F and I did a morning walk along the Montgomery Canal at Queen's Head.

We went to the two reserves but there were very few birds around. We did most of our walk in the dry but did have some rain when we were almost back at the car.  When it stopped, the light became very dramatic and a rainbow appeared in the sky.  It was beautiful!
