Winter Has Begun

Snow on the ground this morning, continued to snow throughout the day and night.  There has been some sunny spells. Not as windy, but cold.  

Up at 5am, early shift on the street beat cleaning.  Me and James on again today.  Not much litter or mess, I can't blame folk for not being out last night in the cold.  Walkies with Sammy after work.  More progress with the bathroom, cosmetic just now.  Nipped down to mam's after lunch, saw Julie and family.  Popped by Laura's on my way home.  Working in the shop this evening.  Much busier than I expected.  Feet up before bed. 

As I headed I to work at 5.45am, snow started to appear when I drove up the hills.  The snow that fell the rest of the day was settling in the hills, lower ground was staying fairly clear.  I'm thinking it might be a different story tomorrow when the daylight arrives, looking frosty tonight on top of it all.  I think it's safe to say, winter has definitely arrived.  Looking along the A970 towards Laxdale and a snowy Hoofield, Cunningsburgh.
