Complicated…?

… I won’t even try to explain why I’m trying to get my head around this stuff. It really doesn’t matter but, somehow my day evaporated as my brain boggled.

Also and unrelatedly, I had a long (two brew) phone chat with a dear friend this afternoon. Someone with whom I used to work. She retired. We both left the West Midlands and are now at opposite ends of the country. We don’t speak as often as we intend to, owing to life somehow being too busy. She’s one of the kindest, smartest, funniest and most interesting people I know; always studying something new as well as constantly revising her old knowledge (which was in the medical field).
I was staggered to be reminded today that she’ll be 90 before the month is out.
