Bougainvillea

This bougainvillea has grown into an arch and was very full, but got damaged during the hurricanes. High winds pushed the top of it over towards the street and it had to be trimmed severely to get it upright. A lot of the leaves were blown off too. 

I fertilized and watered it and now it is truly amazing. In about 6 weeks it is looking totally normal again, albeit a little bit smaller in size. I love how the leaves of bougainvillea modify and these "bracts" become flowers!
