Ship at Circular Quay
It's rare not to see a massive ocean liner docked at Circular Quay. This one is Cunard's Queen Elizabeth, taken from Sydney Opera House. We were there to see and hear a performance of Die Walküre. It comprised three acts and two intervals of one hour and a half hour, altogether five and a half hours. It was a marathon but absolutely fabulous so committing was no problem. Also, in the one hour break we ran into two friends with whom to share a chat and a bevie.
We exited to a full on downpour and got soaked so it was good to get home and dry.
