Cousin in curlers

When I was little you often saw women in their curlers, usually tucked under a headscarf while out doing their shopping. Where have they all gone?

Despite her reluctance, I managed to persuade my cousin outside in her curlers for this blip. I think she was encouraged by the fact that I looked even sillier than her: I was still in my purple fleece pyjamas at the time!
