Waiting Patiently
While warming up in the cafe. Of course they both got a sausage too.
I decided to take both girls swimming this morning. Scout was SOOO excited!
It was just Linda, Justin, Lucy, myself and the two girls.
Jodie was right in with the others and went for the ball when it was thrown but then she and Scout took turns at running along the top with the ball. At the point that I saw Jodie swimming after Justin’s yellow hat I realised the ball had been ditched somewhere.
Both girls just swam with us then. Scout came after me and swam up to koala rock then when Jodie and I were swimming back down she cried until I invited her to come and she swam back down with me. :)
While we were getting changed I told Jodie to go get the ball, not expecting that to happen at all, however she trotted off and came right back with it! I was very impressed.
The river was 7.4 degrees today. Warmer than the air temperature. It is now becoming winter. But the sun did shine and the sky was blue for us which helps so much. :)
We, as usual, had a lovely chat in the cafe and I saw Tracey and Simon (I had seen Simon run past as we were about to get in).
A bit of house work then a spot of shopping for mom, then returned Jodie to mom and spent some time visiting. We started to listen to the audio book and got the edges down on the puzzle.
Home for dinner. Then Cathie and I went over to Keighly to see the new Paddington movie. There were 18 people in the little cinema in the end.
Nice movie.
Home to my baby and some hot chocolate.
I wish it wasn’t Monday tomorrow!
