Turned On Its Head

After recent events, the world does seem upside down. Fortunately, on a day such as this, with the sun shining and air as still as could be, the turmoil was held at bay from my little corner. At least for a short while.

The reflections were crystal clear in the motionless water, not even a drop or bubble to disrupt the illusion. The trunk of the fallen tree seems at odds with the general direction of things. Anti-gravity, anti-flow, anti-movement. Out of balance.
