Home again

Exhausted is the first word that comes to mind. The boys gave me a joyful welcome, and George particularly, won’t leave my side. He’s taken on the position of chief nurse dog.

I aim to take things really easy today, and start physio work tomorrow. I am having in-home physio care which is fantastic. The walk from the ward to the car was quite a long way, and pretty much wore me out.

The rower cooked me a delicious meal of basil and pine nut pasta, and this evening I might do a bit of knitting and then an early night.

Have any of you into craft come across a YouTube channel called Last Homely House? She’s mostly into quilting and a bit of knitting. It’s charming, just like a chat with a friend. Kate is based somewhere in Northumberland - I’ve become addicted to her channel, and along the way have decided I’d really like to make a quilt one day.
