Bushmills

It's been exactly 30 years since our study trip to Belfast. It was an inspiring week and made Belfast and Northern Ireland one of our most visited places. The educational theme was then ' Education through Mutual Understanding (EMU)', visiting schools and places of interest in and around Belfast.
This is a photo of me and my Belgian colleague Miek. I've never seen here since, although recently I found her via Facebook. I sent her this photo. (I forgot the name if the man in the middle. If my memory serves me right the photo was taken in the Belfast City Hall. Where I drank my first Bushmills whiskey ever. Hence, the start of (one of many) friend clubs; the Bushmills Friends.

I have visited Belfast and the norther coast (Whitepark Bay!) in 1994, 1998, 2000 (with my friends), 2008 (400 years Bushmills - with my friends ) and in 2016 with all our kids.
