Bed repaired (I hope)

So have been down in the basement and added screws to the repair. I had left a supporting piece of wood behind, PVA glued and clamped to the broken part, over the weekend.
The screws are intended to stop everything coming apart, as the supporting piece of wood was slightly warped. Everything is straight now.
Also had to hunt around in the garage to find the right sized screws and luckily I had six, although one has a star top on it. Did the job anyway.

The next job was to pump up the front offside tyre on the Grand Scenic. It has a slow puncture and was flat. I have an electric pump, bought from Lidl, which has a cigarette lighter plug. Works a treat. At some point Mme MB will have to take the car to the local garage for two new tyres.

Talking of the garage, both the Grand Scenic and the Kangoo will need to go for an MOT. Both due at the same time. Mega Breadvan is also supposed to go for one, as in France (only) they've imposed it on all sans permis cars (and vans) over a certain age, since April this year. As the years pass, this age will advance gradually until all that class of vehicle need an MOT.
I think there is a years amnesty, so I'll have to get Mega Breadvan done at some point. Unfortunately the Scenic and Kangoo take priority.

Mme MB will be home later on, as she needs to pick up Emma from college. Looks like I'm eating alone, as she will go with Emma straight to the local tip, to unload the furniture that was dismantled yesterday. This is to make way for the bed.

I have lessons between 5pm and 7.30pm. Then after that I'll have to sort out the homework for those students, so they get it tonight.

Sounds like I'm busy, but this morning into the afternoon, I've not been too occupied. I do that on purpose as from about 3pm things will start to get busy.
