The day after

A quiet day at the ‘venue’. As this is a ‘do it yourself’ wedding and we are all staying for the weekend it was a case of rise when you are ready, make breakfast for whoever is in need at that time and please yourself. 

The first sound of life that we heard was the hardy souls that were in the hot tubs in the back garden. 

R brought us coffee and bacon butties in bed. 

Directions were given to those who wanted to sightsee and they headed either to Leek or Ashbourne. We socialised in the lounge before going for a walk up the narrow road with S’s parents. They were interested to see what the Derbyshire dales and farms are like.

We all headed into Ashbourne early evening to a big pub for dinner. We are providing good trade for the local businesses.

Back to the sitting room to open the wedding presents and say thank you to everyone for making this wedding such an enjoyable event.
