The First Frost

We had our first winter frost this morning.  By the time that A and I went for a walk on Kelling Heath the frost had melted in the sun and left the grass all covered in dewy sparkles.

Please excuse that it's a little blurry.  I was crouched down on rather uneven ground.

We were well wrapped up in warm winter walking clothes so we sat on the tiny platform at Kelling Halt (on the North Norfolk Railway Line), and had our flasks of coffee looking out to sea to the windfarm in the distance which was looking clear and bright in the beautiful sunshine.

I love winter days like today, especially as we've had so much cloud cover and gloomy days recently.
