Union Square

I made a trip over to Union Square today, the first visit with Christmas shopping in mind. I did not return empty-handed there must have been some success to the expedition.

Yesterday the lights were turned on in Union Street, so that must be the ultimate official recognition by the Council that Christmas has started. A further hint was provided by the weather gods as we had a sprinkling of snow overnight. As it has been quite cold today the snow has never completely cleared away. An overnightemperature below freezing is forecast.
