In Limbo

Well my car passed it's taxi inspection test, but due to the council's new system, there is no police officer in charge of the dept, the paperwork has to be sent away by fax to the Marischal College ( council offices) who then fax it to the police office, who check that the vehicle isn't stolen or anything, who then fax back to the council who fax it back to the taxi office.
Being a Friday my chances of getting my replacement taxi license plate this afternoon look slim. Despite Fay in the office marking it urgent.
So, like this tree, I am in limbo.
