18/11/2024_Coffee Catch up

With everything that’s been going on I hadn’t had coffee with Anne and Sue since 18 June this year (no cake was consumed).
I later had a Zoom catch up with an ex-colleague I hadn’t spoken to since early July.
 
And then for variety I listened to a two hour talk on understanding olde English including readings from Beowulf as the West Saxons would have heard it.
If I remember there’s a talk on Beowulf and how it influenced fantasy fiction tomorrow (the weather is awful so this fills the afternoon).
