Back In The Barcelona Saddle
No sooner than I woke up, the secretary of the neighbours’ community, of which I am president, what’s app-ed to say that the local authority had entered our private street at will and were changing the old fashioned street lamps to new, lower-down, LED ones. All good news, except we were a bit taken aback by the lack of notice, given it’s a private street. The secretary was particularly worried because they wanted to run cables across his, ironically, highly protected facade! A solution has now been found, through negotiation.
This is a last shot of an old lamp that was quite invasive with its yellow glow into our front-of-house bedroom on the first floor, which we had to exclude through certain door shutter positions.
Let’s see what the new ones bring. They should improve security with better lighting at asphalt level.
PS
You can see the cable tie strips already drilled into position.
