The return of Mr Sleepy...

Older viewers will recall that back in the days when this page was of a higher quality, many of the best shots came courtesy of the fox family that desported themselves on the garage roofs behind my block. Sadly their access to the roofs seemed to be removed a couple of years ago and sightings had become much rarer.

So it was with great delight that I looked out just after lunchtime to see this old chap doing what he does best - sleeping as though he doesn't have a care in the world. The background isn't quite as pleasant as it used to be, as the new occupants of the house behind have cut back most of the trees to put in what looks like an enormous shed - but if this give my vulpine friends better access, who am I to complain?

The extra is of Christmas Cake Mark II, the unburnt version, which will doubtless put in some future appearances wearing marzipan and icing disguises!
