Brrr

I can't say I was looking forward to this morning's swim. The forecast was for a few degrees below zero I did wonder how cold it has to before the consensus would be not to swim (spoiler alert: colder than this). However indications were given on Whats App that people would be dipping this morning so I made my way down to join them. In the end I rather enjoyed it partly because the water at 7 C was warmer than the air at -3 C. We had decided that discretion was the better part of valour and only swam to the bouy and back.  Getting dressed afterwards was the part I'd been looking least forward to but being well organised i.e. having my clothes in the order I would put them on helped.  A good start to the week, 

Back home I did my Gaelic homework, meet with the young person I am mentoring, made two lots of soap. a butter bean dish for tea and chatted with my canan caraid  (language buddy) on-line.
