A bit more autumn

A bit more autumn,
soon to be usurped by a 
bitter winter wind.

So, how many times have we all said, 'it's a bit chilly' today??! It's good we all have our traditions.
I took Ben to school today and then walked Leo (brr) and spoke to my mum.  The main success story was that I finally did my ironing which took ages and was boring but feels very satisfying now.  Older teen came home at lunch time and we watched some bake off whilst I did the end of it, I was then rewarded by going upstairs to put away shirts and some other washing and the bottom fell out of my bedroom drawers :-/ So I then had to spend some time unscrewing the front so I could slide the bottom back in, with very limited success because it's so worn away.  I (very restrained-ly) put only a few things back in the drawer so as not to overload the poor thing but I suspect I shall forget soon and shove too much in and be back to square one.  New drawers may need to go on my Christmas list!  Only problem is they match the wardrobe and bedside tables :-/ In fairness we have had them since 2003 but the thing is that that feels very, very recent!!
In other news Ben was up at 3:30am and has been out today, spending his school dojo reward money at Sainsbury's, so there's some obsession stuff brewing but I'm burying my head in the sand.  Solid plan.
