Today was a big day for Orla

She finally rode her bike without stabilisers.

Quite embarrassing on my part as I should have had her riding like this earlier than at five as we are a cycling family.

To be far to Orla though she loves her scooter and all her friends ride those so she was less interested in her bike up until now.

She was over the moon she could ride without me holding her in a really short time of trying so I'm already looking forward to taking her out again.

She was rewarded with an ice lolly even though it was bitterly cold.

Today has certainly made up for the not so good day yesterday.

Later on Orla dragged me to her favourite pub for a late lunch then we watched a movie and I took her to Claires Mum and Dads so she could see Claire on her return from London. She was happy to see her.
