Party Princess

It’s our daughter Kate’s 40th birthday today and, having enjoyed their night away in Cardiff, they got home early afternoon for a family celebration.

Sophie, Chris, Tess and I had decorated the living room with banners and balloons and Sophie insisted that Mummy had to wear the fetching party hat, which she’s modelling while trying out the new bike Joel had bought her.

In extras is the very tasty (and calorific!) cake that Tess’s talented friend Rachel had baked for her.
