Catching up

This is a backblip for Sunday and a bit of an EB as my blipmojo has gone awol. It's a cushion that I love that my sister designed and made especially for me years ago. 

It's even more years since I attempted my own  patchwork, which set me thinking. Back in the day, I cut paper shapes from the thin pages of old telephone directories. What do patchworkers use these days?
