Gifts

I was gifted some vintage sewing accessories to add to my collection today.
It was the wording on these two items that tell their age, that I realky like.
They came from a friend that I’ve known for about 25 years and we share an interest in collecting.
However it wasn’t an easy visit today.
The journey there and back was long and not very pleasant, .. he wasn’t being very “ “easy”.. and on top of everything I had an argument with a cold caller, on his behalf, who had just charged him £100. for a job that I questioned!! A case of “ “cheat an old person” I think! Taking him to the bank to get money, not accepting a cheque, not letting me go with them!!!

All in all I was sooo glad to get home and close the door on the world.
