Kissabel Apples

I decided to make an apple cake as a friend was coming round for tea. My son in law had given me these apples, which looked perfectly ordinary until I cut them in half!!! I have never seen red flesh in an apple before. It looks very strange but actually tastes delicious. Does anyone else know about these apples??
