Checked out the garden after the 1degC forecast for this morning.
A very thin crust of ice on some water in the fire pit. As a precaution in anticipation of a zero deg C tomorrow morning hammered stakes and bamboo sticks around the recently planted Acacia and bubble wrapped it.
It's a Acacia baileyana and has doubled in size to 1•7 m since planting - a favourite of mine with several growing at Logan botanical gardens so it should be ok once it's well established.
Some sunshine but chilly with a very slight easterly breeze.
Shifting furniture to hopefully streamline arrangements.
A veggie stir fry with scampi and egg noodles for a dinner.
