Moon in the morning sky
Headed out the door at 7 am to drive up to Raleigh for my 10 am infusion appointment.
On the way, this was the moon in the morning sky.
By the time they check me in and do the vital signs etc, then give me the pre-meds and wait the allotted time before starting the IV, it’s almost 11 am.
The IV is supposed to drip over 4 hours but since I tolerate it well they drip over 2 hours. Yes!! That still means it’s after 1 pm when we leave there.
We go to The Cheesecake Factory and have lunch but bring our desserts home to be eaten later.
It is 4:30 - 5 pm before we are home! It’s a long day. I now am full of industrial strength steroids & Benadryl (the pre-meds) so for I couple of days I will be manic and super tired at the same time. It’s a crazy feeling.
My B cells are about to hit rock bottom so I’ll be self-isolating for a few weeks but that just means I can finish decorating for Christmas and bake for both Thanksgiving & Christmas.
