Parking Permit time

Its cost us £200 for a yearly permit for our 2 cars for the privilege of parking close to our house. To get a permit you need to trail down to the Cooncil with various bits of paper and sit and wait for 30 minutes. I delegate this job to my wife but am told its my turn next year. To make matters worse we are going to get no letter next year to tell us our permit is expiring as the Cooncil clearly has no money for stamps. Suspect this is just a ruse to punish the poor citizens of Aberdeen (who are not mega organised) with a fine for not keeping their permit up to date. Rant over.
