...Leila! The grandchildren and I planted up 4 sunflower plants a few months ago, one plant per child duly labelled, and the race was on. There are 3 elements to the competition: first to flower, tallest, most seeds produced, this is to ensure that the 3 older grandchildren each win something. Today, Leila's one started flowering so she wins a solar powered butterfly light. Piers is going to win the tallest probably because he has been watering his one and leaving the others. Somehow or other I will make sure Miles wins the most seeds. Talk about rigging the competition!
