Welcoming guests

A trip to the kennels to collect Amber and Olive, before heading into town for B to have a dental appointment. I went in by the needles and natter session to chat to the ladies whilst waiting for him. Then down to Tesco’s for some goodies.

This afternoon S’s family came round for tea. There had been a conversation yesterday about food traditions and what we have that is different. We have eaten so much food over the past few days, that a little bit more of overindulgence won’t do any harm. Mince pies and brandy cream was popular, closely followed by sultana scones, with jam and cream.

We had a lovely chatty afternoon learning more about each other and our history. 

Amber was very sociable and friendly towards the newcomers, I wasn’t sure if she would be a bit scared with a house full of strangers. 

Early to bed tonight, a busy day tomorrow!!
