Magnetic

Reeds collecting at the water's edge, align themselves in straight lines, through some unseen magnetism. As if to form the bars of a prison window, they serve to obscure the view beyond and into the depths. I felt the need to include washed up debris for contrast in order to complete my little still life.

It would have been so easy had I taken a tripod. But no, in the gloom I challenged myself to a two shot focus stack hand held whilst perched precariously over the water. Blended manually in Photoshop, it worked out, but took too long.
