A cold grey start to the day but there was no frost and no sign of snow.

I headed to Windermere early in the afternoon for some groceries and then, as the weather had improved, decided to drive down to Bowness and see if could park and get a blip. With an outside temperature of 3°C I wasn’t worried about the chilled food staying cool.

I spotted a dusting of snow on the top of Fairfield (in the main). A few more photos in the extra.
