Failing to prepare

A day of getting bits and pieces done around the house.

Had planned to trim back the overgrown hedges, but - crucially - failed to charge the battery on the hedge-trimmers. D’oh.

Instead, as the sunlight faded, I pulled out the dead and dried-out sweet-peas. An oddly satisfying activity.
