From Sour Milk Gill

We are going to have a very sociable week which started with meeting Paul and Ginny at the hotel and a walk up and round Easedale Tarn. It was cold but sunny and the winds remained light so we had a very enjoyable walk of 5 miles.

This was the view from near the bottom of Sour Milk Gill looking back towards Grasmere.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable time, rounded off with a late lunch at Baldrys before saying our goodbyes. Then it was another hello to Neil and Hazel who have joined us at the hotel for the next three days.
