Don't try this at home

A very cold night and the birds were at the rowan berries.  Soon there won't be many left at this rate.  The bullfinches cane back and impressed with their acrobatics.
Bare root roses arrived but the earth was too frosty for planting out so I've put them in a temporary location.  They should be OK for a few days.  I've got a bit of a cold, I'm sure I'll be OK for a few days.
