Life through the lens...

By ValC

Another perfect Norfolk day.

No snow!
We had heavy rain during the night but today stayed fine even if little sun. Great as we had expected rain all day.
After a huge breakfast we set off for Aylsham.
We do like this market town. Coffee at the little tea shop which always reminds us of the one Captain Mainwaring used to visit. ( Dad's Army)
So many individual shops. Including the candle maker. ( in collage).
Great bookshop called The Book Hive.
MrC bought me an early Christmas present.
' The Lost Villages of Norfolk'. Some great aerial photos.
Beautiful cyclamen bought from the florist. A thank you for A. our B&B host.
Picking onions and wine from Budgens.
Also a gift for Leo from one of the charity shops.

Then on to Blickling Hall fir a walk round the grounds. ( see collage)
Still some lovely autumn colour.
Finally to Sherringham.
Glad we wrapped up well as the north east wind was so cold!
Would you believe it MrC spotted some boots in a shop window. Exactly the ones I have been looking for.  Luckily they had my size so another purchase made.

Back to A's for tea and cake and to round off a perfect day, Moules and frites at the local pub.

Will sleep well!

Thank you for all your kind comments stars and hearts. Will try and catchup with you all when we get home.
