Brisk, Again
The cold weather was running around my trouser legs again today, but I was better prepared in terms of my clothing and less traumatised as a result.
Mind you, standing waiting for the 08.23 bus into Edinburgh, I was starting to question the meaning of life. I worried for the young lady in front of me in the queue who seemed to be dressed for a night out in Newcastle.
On a more positive note, the early morning Edinburgh traffic made for a slow journey and I was almost reluctant to get off the cosy bus when we finally reached our destination.
It was a short visit, but pleasant, successful and enjoyable.
As for the Blip, it is a statue of 18th century poet Robert Fergusson in Edinburgh's Canongate. Someone has been kind enough to top up his winter outfit.
