Snagging
Trust me, the pub was heaving behind me, including a party of about 30 people celebrating a birthday.
A long day. I'm picking up a programme of works from someone else (who, in turn, is picking up something from someone who's leaving) and by the end of the day I just wanted to ask him to step back and let me work it out. He has the best intent but he's too close and goes into too many details and rabbit holes. I'd rather jump in and make mistakes / ask questions by now.
I did bump into my CEO at lunch and he gave me a hug! I was quite comfortable with it as I know him well and it was genuine friendship but I'm sure there were others who thought it odd. As a rule I'm not in the habit of hugging my Exec!
Home to some small issues with the decorating. They are expecting to finish tomorrow but there's one bit I'm not happy with that I'm not sure can be fixed in a day. Many moons ago I used to run building fit out projects so I know a bit of snagging when I see it.
