Just to make my point?
A few days ago I showed an interloper Polypody fern & said I had nothing against Ferns per se, and promised an example - here it is.
All my life I've thought it was Asplenium nidus,(Bird's Nest fern), which I still think it is - until I look online and find "they" tell us it's tender.
"The bird's nest fern, Asplenium nidus, is a handsome evergreen fern that grows as a rosette of broad, glossy leaves. Though tender, it makes a good houseplant and is ideally suited to a warm, humid spot such as a steamy bathroom or kitchen."
If it's tender how has it been thriving outdoors, all over the country, for centuries(?)? If it's tender how come this one's survived, and GROWN mightily these last few years?
Sorry about the Fowl. Alice liked them & got two (Black); the weather has denuded them and this one was so white, as a result of the Al2O3 (I haven't forgotten it ALL) You can't really write correct formulae online, I should maybe steal it - THIS is how it ought to look Al₂O₃. - SO - I did my best to reduce the GLARE; you can see/grumble about, the result.
