Shimmer

A wet and cold day. As I ate breakfast at 7:30 the temperature was eleven degrees but by 9:30 it was four degrees! We’d seen this was forecast and so kept an eye on the weather station as we got ready for the morning dog walk. The golden leaves on the birch trees were looking quite beautiful amidst the gloomy light and cheered as we trudged around the muddy meadow.

This afternoon I spent some time watching some calm drawing tutorials. Andy made shepherds pie for dinner this evening.
