Which is real? and does it matter?

 Today I dug  out my old ski gloves and collected some fallen leaves while out walking for a spot of cyanotype printing.

Here’s the dilemma. Which of these two photos is genuine?  Or are both genuine because now with AI we have different criteria, different parameters in which to judge photos?
Unwittingly, we have entered a new era in photography. We can no longer believe the old  adage the photo does not lie.
Today the photo lies beautifully, and often better than the original.
