Candles

Busy day! I made chocolate brownies, meringues, and my latest candle variety.
I have been wanting to make some nice plain tapered candles, but the silicone moulds are rather expensive. However I finally found one that make an 8” candle for not to painful a price. And they are coming out well! You do have to watch them as they are cooling, as the central well of wax shrinks quite rapidly and needs topping up carefully before it sets with a hole in the middle!
Also did some gardening, walked Bonnie, had a chat with Gilly and Wendy, made supper and sewed the dolly’s bloomers! Oh, and fed the bees some more fondant.
