Brass Monkeys

Our neighbour’s burglar alarm went off at 5am (caused by the cold apparently) so Mr P and I were out in our pjs trying to help. It was baltic! Only slightly warmer, later in the morning, when Janet and I went for a long walk in the hills. Home for a late lunch and then we sat by the fire for the rest of the afternoon. Out to another AGM tonight but left early so I could watch Bake Off with Carole.
