Powerless

We've got a major storm going on here, heavy winds and rain, and the power has just gone out.  so Sylvie and I are sitting here with my little battery powered lanterns in each of the rooms to give us some light and we are very much hoping that it will not last very long.  The big problem is that I haven't eaten dinner yet, and now I can't use things that are in the fridge or heat anything up. This will be interesting.  Also it's very cold out and unfortunately that will mean that it gets cold in here too. I hope the weather is much better wherever you happen to be.
