I really would like to eventually own a house that's cool in the summer and warm in the winter as they should (and can) be and not the British standard of oven in the summer thanks to no ventilation and chilly and damp in the winter thanks to drafty everything and no ventilation...

Going back to Norway again but I stayed in a house there that's exactly like this and also - heat pumps. If we were staying here for longer I'd definitely invest in one of these, Octopus does a deal on installation for its customers just now.
